I meet amazing people every day who have given me the honor to help them with their most personal and valued asset, their home. I do not take that honor lightly. Therefore, I have established systems of communication, service, and marketing to give my clients the best experience. I gathered a network of knowledgeable, like-minded, trusted professionals in every area of real estate to answer each anticipated need, and surrounded myself with an experienced full-time team to serve the community alongside me.

My experience in real estate started 25 years ago with flipping investments and rentals. I have lived in many areas of Jefferson and Shelby County as I moved from investment to investment. In 2006, I became a full-time licensed agent serving others. Seventeen years prior to real estate, I had a successful career in the advertising and marketing side of radio broadcasting. 

Across the internet, you will find 5-star reviews for my team due to our mindset of service, earning us a 2017 Best of Birmingham finalist among Realtors (200,000 voter poll) and Best of Houzz in service. In the top 5% of Birmingham Area Realtors, I help on average 40 families a year. My accreditations include SRES, ABR, and Certified New Home Specialist.

On a personal note, my husband, Kenny, and I were married in 2009. He is a sergeant with Jefferson County Sherriff’s Department. Our two beautiful little girls are the light of our lives. We love our family adventures to the lake, exploring nature on long golf cart rides and walks. I am very close to my parents and love to be with them. We see them every chance we get.

With nearly a decade of experience in the Birmingham real estate industry, I can truly say that being a Realtor is so much more to me than a career. I have been married to my husband Mike since 2000. He is a pastor in a local congregation. We have three children who are college age, or quickly approaching college. They have always been incredibly active, and we thoroughly enjoy following them around and supporting them in all of their endeavors. We have formed some incredible connections in our lives thanks to our kids' school and extra-curricular activities.

My family has lived in and loved the Birmingham area since 2010, and it is such a joy to help others discover where it makes the most sense for them to settle in our wonderful city and surrounding areas. I can't wait to help you!

Gina Payne - Team and Client Assistant

I've worked in the real estate industry for 20 years as a real estate assistant. I work with our agents and clients to make sure that all timelines are met and all paperwork is completed.  I'm focused on making sure that our clients have the best experience possible.


Cassie Sims - Closing Coordinator


I handle all the nitty-gritty of the contract process from ordering title, survey, termite, septic/sewer, warranties, etc. to reviewing a title for issues/errors and working to resolve any problems on the title.  I also review surveys, termites inspection reports, etc. for anything that may cause an issue with the lender. I review closing statements to ensure fees and/or costs are in line with the terms of the contract and, finally, as all goes well, schedule the time and location for closings.

Cindy Moore - Client Coordinator

I’ve worked in the real estate industry for eight years as a virtual assistant, helping bring buyers and sellers together with agents and helping Realtors build their businesses.  In 2018, I decided that with my love of houses, my customer service experience, and my knowledge of the industry I could bring buyers and sellers together to coordinate a smooth real estate transaction from start to finish while providing top-notch service to my clients.  

I work with Christina as client care coordinator, reaching out to buyers, talking with them and gaining a sense of what they are looking for, and connecting them with The Christina James Team.  I also connect with Sellers to let them know that our team will take good care of them while we are getting their homes sold. 

I pride myself on being honest, trustworthy and someone that you can depend on, and a firm believer that communication is the key to a great real estate experience.   


Maggie Asuncion - Client Concierge

I work with The Christina James Team as a Client Concierge. I help the team by getting in touch with our clients, making sure that they are taken care of every step of the way. I set appointments between our clients and team agents and I also help our customers set up their search tools to easily find available homes that match your wish list for your next home.

Set to Sell provides pre-listing consultation services for real estate agents and homeowners, working with them to get homes ready for photos and showings.
