The Grey Oaks is a newer neighborhood in Pelham, Alabama. The neighborhood is conveniently located off county road 11 between i-65 and why 280. The neighborhood has street lights. The neighborhood also has a community pool that opened this summer which includes a pavilion and restrooms on site.
Donovan Builders LLC are the builders in the neighborhood. They are a full-service design-builder contractor that has been in the business for 11 years and have been involved in several new neighborhoods in Selby, Jefferson, and St. Clair counties. These neighborhoods include Silver Lakes in Helena and Lime Creek in Chelsea. They will be working in Taylors Cove in Moody and Willow Oaks in Wilsonville.

Oak Mountain State Park is a short 12-mile drive away from Grey Oaks. The park is a 9,940-acre park and wildlife center created by the State Land Act in 1927. The lake includes a lake for fishing, boating, and swimming with a beach. There are also 25 miles of hiking trails through the park. There is also horseback riding trails and mountain back trails for nature exploration. There is also camping, equestrian camping, golfing and hunting within the park.
Grey Oaks is 15 minutes away from Oak Mountain Amphitheater, one of the most popular venues for music and the largest outside music venue in Alabama.Pelham Civic Complex is a 5,000-seat arena with two NHL size ice rinks. At the civic center, there is an ice skating school and a venue for parties that can also include ice skating. The civic center hosts sports, trade shows, conventions, and is the home of the Birmingham Bulls, the local SPHL team.
The Pelham Racquet Club is a public tennis park with 20 clay courts and 5 hard courts located 6 miles away from Grey Oaks. The park is lighted with tournament grade lighting. Membership to the club requires a fee per family or individual. The park offers tennis lessons and is a venue for state and national tennis tournaments.
