Longmeadow is located within the Trussville City School District. This neighborhood is specifically zoned for Hewitt-Trussville Elementary, Hewitt-Trussville Middle, and Hewitt-Trussville High School. The high school is located across from Longmeadow.

Things to do in Trussville Area

The Village at Highland Lakes is in a great location, with many attractions nearby. Oak Mountain State Park is the perfect place for a good hike. Drive 20 minutes on Hwy 280 to go to The Summit for a day of shopping. The Lee Branch Shopping center, including a movie theater, is an even shorter drive on Hwy 280. Spend the day in Downtown Birmingham and visit the zoo, botanical gardens, art museum, and much more! 

Healthcare

Longmeadow is closest to Grandview Medical Center on Hwy 280. There are primary care offices at the Grandview Medical Group in Lee Branch. There is also an AFC Urgent care in Greystone. UAB Hospital and St. Vincent's are about a 30-minute drive.
