Hoover features the beautiful public course at The Renaissance Ross Bridge Golf Resort and Spa as well as five private courses, Hoover Country Club, Inverness Country Club, Riverchase Country Club, Greystone Golf and Country Club Founders Course and Greystone Golf and Country Club Legacy Course 

Moss Rock Preserve offers a beautiful 349 acre Nature preserve right in the middle of the community. Hike the nearly 12 miles of Nature Trails or simply enjoy the forest and streams. For the more adventurous try rock climbing in the extensive boulder field. Hoover is also home to Aldridge Gardens, a gorgeous 30-acre woodland garden. There are plenty of benches for relaxing and enjoy the gardens and it is a favorite spot of local artists and photographers. Hoover also has over a dozen additional parks including a dog park and sand volleyball venue.
